The ProCare Advantage includes onsite training by a certified wound, ostomy, continence, and hyperbaric nurse. ProCare encourages all staff, as well as physicians, to complete the ProCare Advantage Courseware (PAC). Made up of self-paced modules, the PAC teaches and develops the novice wound care technician or nurse. The PAC also provides a well structured, fast paced review for the wound care expert. Most ProCare Healing Centers provide hyperbaric oxygen alongside their wound care centers. Physicians, nurses, and technicians receive hyperbaric training in San Antonio , TX . Training is accredited by the UHMS (Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society) and headed by Paul J. Sheffield, PhD. Once staff completes their training, they are strongly encouraged to obtain their hyperbaric certifications as soon as possible.

In addition to this training, ProCare and its host hospitals’ encourage ongoing training. ProCare has created a substantial library of resources available for staff and physicians that is available through our corporate offices.
